Human Resources Management - For the purpose of this survey, human resources management involves human capital activities and strategies that focus on successful talent management throughout the employee lifecycle and at all levels of the organization to achieve agency goals/missions.

Human resources management work includes responsibilities such as, but not limited to job design, compensation and benefits, recruitment, selection, onboarding, workforce analysis, employee training and development, employee/labor relations, and performance management.
